Client Interview: It’s easy to get caught up in the madness that is our world right now. But we can’t!

This has been such a disappointing and difficult time for so many brides-to-be. When D contacted me to tell me she was going ahead with her session despite the fact that her wedding had been pushed off for a year, yes a year, I was nothing but impressed. She was upbeat and determined not to let it get the best of her.

Boudoir can help

when it comes to feeling empowered. Especially in a time that seems unfair and at times hopeless. With so much lost for the moment… taking the time to show your partner a little extra special attention can make all the difference

“My advice to other brides is; talk with your partner..

what is the most important piece for you as a couple?”

D and her husband, like most couples, had amazing plans that involved 100s of guest. They wrestled with the responsible thing to do and came to the conclusion they had to postpone.. but where did that leave them and all their dreams. What about their personal goals and priorities as a couple?

“For us, it was okay waiting another year

to marry the person you have been waiting for your entire life.”

But that didn’t stop her from celebrating herself and her love for her partner with a boudoir session. Mrs D was confident and determined to create something special for her guy in the midst of all the disappointment. Something they could share now and look back on in the years to come. The album we created together was just the thing to lift their spirits!

It’s easy to get caught up in the madness that is our world right now. Easy to hibernate. Easy to give up. Easy to give in. But we can’t. We need to look toward things that can help us ride out the storm. We need to find the good and the positive in our situation. We need to turn toward ideas, people and activities that will lift us up and make us feel good about ourselves and our relationships.

Mrs D was brave and creative and chose her boudoir session as that something that would bring her light at a dark time. We had fun and we laughed and we created an amazing set of images that will last forever. An album she could gift the love of her life to remind him that no matter what happens - wedding or not - she’s thinking of him now and always.
